This policy explains what information Tots & Tails by Tati collects through this website, why, and how it’s used. Tots & Tails by Tati is run by Tatiana Castanho, based in Alvor, Portugal.
What information is collected
When you use the enquiry form on this site, the following is collected: parent/guardian name, phone number, email address, number of children and their ages, your location, and the dates and times requested. If you choose to share it, this also includes allergies, medical conditions or special requirements for your child, and any additional information you add.
Why it’s collected
This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and arrange childcare or dog walking, including understanding any medical or allergy information needed to look after your child safely. It is never used for marketing and is never sold.
Legal basis
Where the form includes health-related information about your child, such as allergies or medical conditions, this is only collected with your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box before sending the enquiry. General enquiry details are processed to take steps towards a childcare or dog walking arrangement at your request.
Who sees it
Enquiries submitted through the form are delivered by email using FormSubmit, a third-party form-to-email service, arriving directly in Tati’s inbox. No one else has access, and information is never shared for marketing purposes.
How long it’s kept
Enquiry details are kept only for as long as needed to respond to you and, if a booking goes ahead, to provide care safely, then deleted.
This website also
- Loads fonts directly from Google Fonts, which means Google may see your device’s IP address when a page loads. See the Cookie Policy for more on this.
- Uses your browser’s local storage to remember your chosen language (English or Português) so the site loads in the right language next time. This stays on your own device and isn’t sent anywhere.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you, object to how it’s used, or withdraw consent at any time. To do this, contact tati@totsandtails.net. If you’re not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can complain to Portugal’s data protection authority, the CNPD.
