Booking Terms & Conditions

These are the terms that apply to every babysitting, non-live-in nannying, dog walking and pet sitting booking made with Tots & Tails by Tati, run by Tatiana Castanho, based in Alvor, Portugal. This page is for information only - there's nothing to fill in here. Booking details are confirmed directly with Tati by phone, email or message.

1. Pricing

Current hourly rates for babysitting, non-live-in nannying, dog walking and pet sitting are shown on the homepage and on each service page: babysitting, non-live-in nannying, and dog walking & pet sitting. Prices are non-negotiable.

2. Timing and running over

An agreed start and finish time is set for every booking. If a booking runs over that agreed finish time, this is charged at €5 for every extra 30 minutes, whatever the service.

3. No overnight stays

Tots & Tails by Tati does not offer overnight childcare or pet sitting.

4. Bookings and cancellations

Bookings are confirmed directly with Tati. A booking cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.

5. Payment

Payment method and timing are agreed directly with Tati at the time of booking. Late payment may result in future bookings being paused until any outstanding balance is settled.

6. Child and pet details

Ahead of a childcare booking, Tati will ask for your child's name, age, any allergies, medical conditions, current medications, and your GP and emergency contact details, along with your consent for emergency medical treatment to be sought if ever needed. Ahead of a pet sitting or dog walking booking, she'll ask for your pet's details, vet contact, feeding and medication instructions, and any key or access arrangements. 7. Transport and photos

Transporting a child or pet by car is only ever done with your prior consent, agreed at the time of booking. The same goes for photos taken during a booking - whether these are shared with you, and whether any are used on social media or for marketing, is agreed with you separately and only happens with your consent.

8. Liability

The client agrees that Tati is not liable for any pre-existing injury, illness or damage that wasn't caused by her negligence. Tati agrees to follow the house rules provided by the client, and to treat the home, children and pets in her care with care and respect.

9. Confidentiality

Any personal or family information shared with Tati is kept confidential.

10. Ending the arrangement

Either party can end an ongoing arrangement at any time, with reasonable written notice.
